Internships

Bolton International Film Festival is looking for interns during the spring/summer to help organise the festival.

 

We offer internships during the period March - October each year. The festival has a strong track record of working with trainees, we have the experience to teach you the skills you'll need for the role, but also how to transfer them to other jobs for the future.
As an intern, you'll work directly with the Festival Director and Festival Producer during the build up to the festival. 

Each trainee is assigned a responsibility area, such as guest liaison, marketing responsibility, volunteer responsibility and we also encourage involvement in our pre-programming/programming team and our asset management and festival software.

The goal is for the trainee to get a good insight into the work behind an international film festival and to be an important part of the team that delivers the festival. We provide references to all trainees after completing the internship and where we can we open doors to our industry network in the region and across the country.
